1995 Camry SE V6 Coupe
They said it couldn't be done. I'm here to
prove them wrong. Here's my
SUPERCHARGED 1995 SE V6 Camry Coupe. It's got 140,000 miles on it, and I
still autocross with this car even though it's my daily driver.
Mods as of July 22, '01: 9005 bulbs in all four
headlamp sockets, H&R Sport
kit springs, KYB GR-2 struts, TRD Supercharger (purchased from
toyotaparts4u), Hayden ATF cooler, plus-zero sized tires (215/60/15) on
stock rims, AutoMeter A/F ratio and Boost gauges. And of course a nice
stereo and various little cosmetic mods here and there.
Mods in progress: AMD K6-2/300-based PC built into
the car for MP3 and VCD
playback, realtime data acquisition (tied to ECU via OBD-II), and searchable
maps. Researching info I'll need for future mods (tranny swap in particular).
Future mods: Apexi S-AFC to fully tune engine/ecu
for max performance, 5spd
manual tranny conversion with ACT street clutch, TRD limited slip diffy
(probably bought here), and a custom short shift lever, polyurethane
suspension bushings and motor mounts, possibly the TRD Solara rear sway
bar
(will be bought here also), custom front strut tower brace, and whatever
else tickles my fancy and is within the reach of my income.
